Homeroom: 8:45am – 10:00am

• Arrival – Books, toys, games, and puzzles
• Show and Tell – Discuss items brought and share news
• Calendar – Talk about the weather, days of the week, month, and date
• Activity – Readiness activities

 Open Time: 10:00am – 10:50am

• Art Room – Creative activities, varied art techniques and media, and discovering well-known works of art
• Butterfly Room (Science) – Experimenting activities, nature studies, basic scientific concepts, sand table and water play
• Ladybug Room (Math) – Block play, number concepts, guided and free exploration
• Quiet Room – Books, puzzles, quiet table play, and small manipulatives
• Play Room – Free play activities, dress-up, kitchen area, and dramatic play
• Music Room – Fundamentals of music through song and creative movement
• Snack Room – Simple, nutritious snacks
• Library – Listening center, flannel board stories, and literature related iPad activities

 Clean-Up Time & Story Time: 10:50am – 11:00am 

 Homeroom: 11:00am – 11:45am

• Outdoor Activities –  playground, walks, organized games
• Indoor Activities –  stories, songs, sharing, and preparing to leave for the day
